PCH rightfully proud of its 10-year history

I was delighted to play my part bringing PCH into existence back in 2009, during my time as the City Council’s member for finance. It was an exciting time as everyone worked so hard to deliver major improvements to the housing stock – new kitchens, new bathrooms, new heating systems, and better insulation.

In my mind, I wanted to see the issue of social housing brought higher up the agenda and, with £95m of Government support made available, I was sure it was the right thing to do. Time has shown that we all made the right decision.

It’s been great to see PCH mature as an organisation over the last 10 years, and I hope to see PCH continue to provide focus to its role as a social housing provider in the years to come.
