Service with a smile for Leigham couple
New tenants Sue and Paddy Hull can’t speak highly enough of the “fabulous” PCH staff who helped them find and settle into their perfect home. The Hulls moved into a one-bedroom bungalow in Thurlestone Walk, Leigham, at the end of August and said: “We’re so happy here that the only way we’ll leave is if you carry us out in a box!”
The couple applied to join the housing register back in March because of Paddy’s declining health. The 70-year-old has diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hypertension, and was struggling to manage the 38 steps at the privately-rented maisonette where the couple previously lived in the city centre – so his doctor recommended moving to a single-level property.
“Every single person we’ve dealt with at Plymouth Community Homes has been absolutely superb – so helpful, friendly and, most of all, kind”Sue Hull, Thurlestone Walk resident
Bursting with pride over her immaculate new home, Sue said: “The level of service we’ve had from a number of different people at Plymouth Community Homes has been absolutely remarkable. They must be very happy in their work because every single person we’ve dealt with has been absolutely superb – so helpful, friendly and, most of all, kind. It’s a million miles away from our experience of the private sector.”
